In their words
Abby’s Animal Services began in 2022 when, aged 21, I turned my lifelong love of animals into a business. Having grown up on a working farm and gained a degree in Equine Business Management, I initially offered mobile livery alongside dog walking. Just six months later, my Border Collie puppy, Jesse, was attacked. Supporting her through reactivity completely changed the direction of my business. I began studying canine behaviour and discovered a passion for helping dogs and their owners navigate similar challenges without fear, force or judgement. Today, Abby’s Animal Services provides science-based, reward-focused puppy classes, life skills training, reactivity programmes, Hoopers, Scurry Dog and 1:1 support. I keep classes small so every dog and owner receives individual guidance, and I aim to make training welcoming, practical and enjoyable. I continued developing my knowledge and returned stronger. I am now an IMDT-qualified trainer, KAD Approved Professional, Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor and specialist reactivity coach. What began as a small local service has grown into a trusted community where owners feel heard, dogs are treated as individuals and every success is celebrated
